A Family-Owned Venue with Rich History
Welcome to 1841 Circle M Ranch, our family-owned venue on a working farm and ranch. When choosing the name for our venue, we wanted to honor both the history of the land and our family’s legacy. The name “C. Mosher 1841” is engraved on the lintel of the farmhouse, and the letter “M” has special significance, as it appears in many names in both our family and the property’s history.
Owners Marc and Michelle Dorsey, along with their children, Marshall and Madelynn, and their two dogs, Milo and Maxi, are proud to continue this tradition. The Moshers were the first family to own and farm this land, and the previous owners, Rick and Marilyn, founded Oakencroft, an equine clinic. To honor them, we’ve named our our cocktail lounge Oakencroft Pub.
One of the ranch’s most charming features is the entrance, lined with over 50 maple trees. These trees were a birthday gift to Marilyn from a neighbor, who dug up each sapling from the property’s forest and replanted them along the driveway. Today, they form a stunning canopy of maple leaves, creating a breathtaking welcome as you arrive at the ranch.
